Babicka's Bublanicka


150 g butter
150 g sugar
20 g vanilla sugar
4 eggs   (egg yolk and egg white separately)
grated peel of half of lemon
150g of medium ground flour  ( we used half of your plain flour and half of semolina)
1 tea spoon of baking powder


Oven preaheat on 180 gr. of Celsius

  1. Blend butter, sugar, than slowly the egg yokes
  2. beat up egg whites to a froth (soft peaks)
  3. gradually add flour with baking powder and white eggs (froth)
  4. put the batter on baking sheet (with baking paper) and add half of the strawberies and after 5 minutes add the rest of fruit (you can also use cherries) and bake another 25 minutes
