3 Pears/Apples (quartered and seeds removed)
125g caster sugar
75g flour (or self raising flour)
75g almond meal (ground almonds)
Cream butter and sugar. Add one egg at a time with 1 tbs of flour. Fold in remaining flour and almond meal together with a little cinnamon or mixed spice. Put this mixture at bottom of baking tin.
Fry a little butter and brown sugar together and add fruit and turn till coloured. Arrange fruit on top of cake mixture and pour frying juices over the cake and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Bake in oven till cooked.
